Maretta Kennedy combines her passions for art and horses in sculpture, paintings and furniture. Her skill as an equine artist was developed, in part, by working with show horses for fifteen years. She also worked in an art bronze foundry for four years gaining in-depth knowledge of how bronzes are made and being mentored by master sculptors. Having this knowledge she does much of the finishing work herself. Her understanding of the process and dedication to the work ensures that the resulting sculpture is of the highest quality and what she and her client envisioned. Maretta has rapidly gained recognition for her ability to create beautiful and accurate bronze and painted portraits, not just of horses but dogs and people as well, with her works gracing homes from coast to coast.
